Google is going to pay you for placing their search engine in contextual ad boxes along with your articles, forum posts, videos, photos, reviews, rating lists, etc. You get paid from $.03 cents to $10.00 for each click on the ad boxes that is generated through your submission to the revenue-sharing sites. You will also get paid for every 1000 page impressions (when someone just visits the page).

We are going to give you a detailed tutorial on how to sign up and get your account established with Google, so pay close attention. This is very easy.

Because Google AdSense seems to change their policies daily, we have two options to sign up for your free Google AdSense account. If Option #1 has any problems, then resort to Option #2, which will allow you to sign up without having a website or blog.

OPTION #1
Option #1 is simple. Go go to our opportunity "Creating Blog Articles Part 1" and set up a blog as we show you in that tutorial.

You will then use your blog URL address when asked for website URL in the Google AdSense sign-up.

This usually will get you approved for a Google AdSense account. Many times when you are not approved right away, Google will approve you within few weeks once you get some posts on your blog.

OPTION #2
In Option #2 we will get you set up directly with one of the revenue-sharing sites. This site will allow you to set up a Google AdSense account directly as a member in their program.

Step 1: Apply for Google AdSense through revenue-sharing site (HubPages.com)

Step 2: Once you get your HubPages.com account, login to your HubPages.com members home area.

You will need to retrieve your HubPages.com profile URL link to submit on your Google AdSense application.

Because Google AdSense requires some kind of web page or blog to approve your Google AdSense account, you can use the URL of your profile page at HubPages.com site.

Google must be convinced that the URL you submit is owned by you. For example, if you list the URL http://www.HubPages.com alone as your URL in your Google AdSense application, Google will simply reject it since this site listed on your application is not owned by you.

Instead, you must use the URL of your HubPages.com profile page which will look something like this:

http://www.HubPages.com/member/YourUserId.aspx

You can check your exact profile page at HubPages.com to confirm the exact URL they give for your profile or affiliate page.

*** Important before applying for Google AdSense account ***

Before you apply for Google AdSense, make sure you have provided a very detailed description about you in your HubPages.com profile page. Otherwise, Google may reject your application saying 'your site is not fully developed or there is no valid content'.

Don't create a new AdSense account as soon as you register with this site. Instead, wait for 1 to 2 weeks and post some valid articles in this site. Submit your AdSense application only after you establish good credentials with this site. Otherwise, Google may reject your application saying your website is too new.

Step 3: Sign up with Google AdSense using your HubPages.com profile URL.

*** A few tips before filling out online application for Google AdSense account ***

You will need a Google Gmail account in order to sign up with Google AdSense, so if you don't have a Gmail account you will need one.

You must use the same name on your Google AdSense application as you used in your HubPages.com profile. Otherwise, Google may reject your application saying the URL you specified is not owned by you.

For example if you signed up under Jerry Smith at HubPages.com, the you will sign up with Google AdSense under that same name.

The initial sign-up process is very simple and self explanatory. The most important thing to remember is to put the correct HubPages.com URL where it asks for a website, and to use the same name you signed up with on your HubPages.com account.

Step 4: Receive Email from Google.
After you create an AdSense application, you will receive an instant automated email notification from Google AdSense asking you to provide additional information and do few steps in order to complete your AdSense application. The email will have the following subject:

Sometimes, this automated email may go to your junk/spam mail folder. So, if you do not find this email in your inbox within few minutes, please check other mail folders as well.

Step 5: Follow instructions in email

You will be given a URL link and you will be taken to the Google AdSense website to fill additional information about your AdSense application.

The page you will be taken to will have you provide details such as payee name and address information.

Payee Name: Make sure you use a valid name which is same as the name you use in your bank account. If this name does not match with your bank account name, you may not be able to deposit the cheques you receive from Google.

You will not be able to change the payee name later.

Country: This is very important. You will not be able to change this later. Make sure you select the country where you want the cheque to be received.

Address: Provide a valid and full address. We have noticed that Google is rejecting applications if the address don't include a door number.

So if your address doesn't have a door number, try to put the words like something like "house" etc in the address (Example: "Anjana Villa House"). Otherwise Google may think that it is an incomplete address and they may reject your application.

After you complete the above steps, you will be redirected to a page which shows the Google AdSense terms & conditions. You must scroll to the bottom of the page and check the check box and press "I Accept". Only after you complete this step, your application will be officially submitted to Google for review.

Step 6: Final confirmation email from Google

After you complete all steps in Google website, your application will be manually verified by an AdSense specialist.

This may take several days. Sometimes, it will be as quick as 2-3 days. Sometimes, it may take up to 1 to 2 weeks. So, keep watching your email inbox and bulk mail folder.

After your application is reviewed, you will receive an email from Google saying your application is approved or not approved. If it says it is approved, you have nothing more to do.

You may receive email notifications from Google asking you to generate AdCode and use it some sites. This is not necessary since the revenue-sharing sites will do this for you.

If your AdSense application is not approved, Google will mention the reason as well. You will be given few chances to correct the mistakes and re submit.

The Usual reasons for getting rejected on first application is not enough content. This simply means you need to add more articles or posts to your Hub Pages pages.

Signing up With Revenue-Sharing Forums
When signing-up with some of these Google AdSense Revenue-sharing forums, you will need to know some important information.

(1) Some of the forums will ask you for your Google Publisher ID at the time of sign up. Make sure to enter your Google AdSense Publisher ID when asked.

(2) If asked at sign-up, you DON'T need to enter any of the following if asked

(3) Make sure you read the terms or guidelines so you can stay in compliance.
