Notes about test results - We did not do this particular test in print out form. If you where to print the transcription out you would place each page number starting from page two on the top right corner.
On the title page the interview was done in New York city, so the location would be noted as "New York, N.Y"
This is Near Verbatim, so you would not have to transcribe sounds such as coughs, sighs etc. However, you would transcribe laughs. Near Verbatim is the most common method to transcribe, if no specific instructions are given on the style, then you can ask, or go with Near Verbatim.
Remember you do not need to list the files as File #1 and File #2. That is only done if you are transcribing cassette tapes, then you would list Side A and Side B.
This was a tricky assignment because there were two digital files to be transcribed. You also needed to time code the transcript. The proper way to time code multiple digital files, cassettes etc. is to use continuous timing. So you would not start the second digital file as 00:00:00, but where the first time left off, then calculate the times from there.
