We will give you a general idea on how to sign up and use most of these classified directories. Most will be formatted in the same manner as we will show you in this tutorial.

YOU WILL NOT NEED TO SIGN UP FOR BUY SELL COMMUNITY FOR TRAINING AS THEY RESTRICT THIS TO ONLY A FEW ALLOWED COUNTRIES. JUST VIEW THE TUTORIAL AND FOLLOW ALONG SO YOU CAN SEE HOW MOST OF THE CLASSIFIEDS WORK IN GENERAL.

For our training we will use "BuySellCommunity.com" listed in the directory list we provide.

EXAMPLE 1: US FREE ADS

 

We will show you how to make your classified data submission ad post using the classified directories.

Most of the classified directories will work using the same format, and we will use Buy Sell Community to show you how this is done.

Also, some classified directories will have you refine the categories even more by selecting a sub-category or sub-categories off the main category.

For our training we are using a company that is a business opportunity called "Mire Hair Oil."

So this company would fall under the "Health & Beauty" category for Buy Sell Community.

You would then pick another sub-category that best fits the company's product or service which will refine the posting even further. In the case of the company we are promoting, we would select "Beauty Supplies" or you do sometimes have the option to leave sub-categories blank if you can't find a good sub-category to select.

B. Subject - Ad Title - Headline - This is where you will enter a title subject of the company you are posting to the classified directory. Some classified directories will refer to this as the "Title" or the "Headline." As you see US Free Ads refers to this as the "Ad Title."

You will use your notes on the company you are posting to come up with a short title that best describes the company's product and/or service they offer. You also want to catch the readers attention as well with a good title.

C. Description - Ad Body - You will now need to give some more details about the company's product or service you are submitting posting for. Here is where you can add special selling points you have gathered in your research of the company you are posting. 

Never put the actual company's Web site address or name in any of your postings. You want to make sure the reader goes through your pay code link so you get credit for the posting.

D. Price - As mentioned you will not put any price for your submission post, unless the company is offering a real good price, discount, offer, etc. OR if the classified directory requires you to put a price, then you will need to put the price of the company's product or service.

So it is a good idea while doing your research to always get the asking price of the company's product or service.

E. Picture (Optional) - Some free classified directories may allow you to add a picture to your submission ad posting. This is optional but effective if you can add a picture.

The best way to do get pictures is by one of two ways:

First Option: You can go to the pay admin account and go to the company's page on the pay admin account to see if they offer promotional tools such as pictures, videos, etc. You can also for directly to the company's Web site you are promoting and find a picture that may best describe the company's product or service you are submitting. 

Find a picture that is not too big, usually around 150px x 150px or smaller is a perfect size and will format well on classified directories.

To save the picture from company's Web site place your mouse cursor over the picture, you can then right click your mouse and "SAVE PICTURE AS." You can save the picture to your desktop to add to the classified site.

Second Option: Is to go to a search engine and type a search using a keyword that best describes the company's product or service you are submitting.

You will then click on the "IMAGE" option in the search box and you will get a bunch of picture you can choose from. 

Place your mouse cursor over the picture, you can then right click your mouse and "SAVE PICTURE AS." You can save the picture to your desktop to add to the classified site.

Other options on classifieds that may be offered or required when setting up post

We will list some common options that are presented by classified directories during your post. Some may even be required:

Link - Web site URL - Some classified ad sites may offer a special location such as "Link" or "Web site URL."

Here you would add your pay code link/hoplink or shortened TinyURL link (if allowed with free membership). When you see this option it usually means the classified directory will place your pay code link at the end of post so it stands out.

If this is not an option don't worry! The classified will be posted with your email address for the reader to inquire directly to your email address listed with classified directory. We will be showing you an easy way to respond to the email and assure you get your pay code link to the inquiring person.

Zip Code - Location - Some classified directories will allow you to enter a location where you want to post your data submission ad. If nothing is selected then the submission will post to your registered location. It is your option with some classified directories to post to other areas if you choose.

One option is to set up the same data submission ad and set it to different locations if allowed on the classified directory. You will see that some classified directories will not allow you to post the data submission ad to different locations to run at the same time. 

Ad Expiration - Most classified directories place your posting in their directory for 30 days as default. Some will allow longer and some will be shorter. You will want to keep it it the longest time period as possible.

Payment Type & Options - Some classified directories will want you to specify the currency type, and payment options accepted. Always put this in U.S. Dollar if asked. For payment options you will always select all major credit cards and PayPal. All of the companies you will be dealing with set their currency to U.S. Dollars and all of the pay administrative accounts will accept all major credit cards and PayPal.

Shipping Locations & Costs - For shipping location if asked, you will select global or worldwide. For shipping costs should be left as "Not Applicable" or "Free" if it is a digital product you are promoting.

Taxes - Don't choose to add tax or select "No Taxes" if there is a choice. The pay processors will figure all of this out during payment for the buyer so you don't need to worry about that.

will allow you to enter a location where you want to post your data submission ad. If nothing is selected then the submission will post to your registered location. It is your option with some classified directories to post to other areas if you choose.

Videos (Optional) - Most of the free classified directories will not allow you to add videos to your data submission posting using their free membership account. Usually they will want you to upgrade. If they do allow you to place a video in your data submission ad posting it can be very effective. You could go to the company's page ad pay admin account or directly to the company's Web site to see if they have any videos you can copy or download. You could then add the videos to your data submission postings if you choose.

We will show you how to respond to the emails where you can then add your pay code link. This is a simple process and we will give you details exactly how to do this a little further in this tutorial.

After you have filled out the data submission ad, you would then post the data submission ad by continuing and confirming the posting as we will show you on this screen:

Once you confirm the data submission ad looks good, click the "Post"  or "Confirm" button and you are done.

The posting will usually post instantly or with in a few minutes. If there are any issues with post you will get an email from the classified directories. Usually the issues are if you posted to a category such as employment or jobs, the classified directory will not approve you submission and/or give you the option to pay to make the post. 

As mentioned some of these directories will charge to post to any employment or jobs categories.

Setting up Drafts to Email Inquiries - VIDEO

You will set up drafts in your email account for every company you are promoting that you were not able to send your pay code link through the data submission ads.

In your draft you will use the company's name that you submitted as the email/draft subject. This will allow you to quickly be able to identify the draft in question.

In the body of the email you will put a simple response such as:

"Hello,
Thank you for your inquiry and I would like to tell you more about the product. I will give you a link directly to our Web site that will allow you to get more information or answer any of your questions.

Here is the website: HERE YOU PUT YOUR PAY CODE LINK

Thank You,

Your First Name"

As you see the response draft is simple and to the point. You will need to always make sure you include your pay code link/hoplink or the shortened goo.gl link which we suggest to use over your pay code direct link.

When ever someone inquires about the company you submitted to classified directory, you will simply go to the draft, copy and paste the draft in the inquiring email, and click send. You are done!


The person will then go to the company's website and you did your job!

You never need to answer any emails, sell the company's product, offer customer service, etc. By directing the inquirer through your pay code link, the company will do the rest and you get paid.
